Monterey!

Finally! So, Albert had the idea of going to Monterey for a few days to hang out on the week of July 27th. AWESOME IDEAA :)

Monday, July 27th-
I slept at like... 5am because I was packing, watching dramas, and crying my eyes out D: Woke up around 8 to finish packing and waited for Dinhalinh to pick me up. Reminder to self - get a smaller duffel bag -__- I swear I don't bring THAT much stuff, but it looks like I do! And all Dinh brought was like two tiny tote bags... and I think she brought more stuff than me wtfff -__- Well anyways, got to Albert's house, like 15 min late and found out we were the first ones there. Hahaha. A bit later, Jessica, Wilson, and Darren came into the house with peace offerings of cantaloupe xD Ewww.. lolol. So off we went to Monterey! Darren followed Albert and his mom in his grandparent's mini-van and Dinh and I took a nap in the backseat. Yayyy no carsickness wooo! When we were almost there, we started listening to the radio xD HAHAHAHA. The 90s had some really....great songs.. bahahahaha :P Soooo, got to Pine Acres Lodge, unloaded the cars, said goodbye to Albert's mom, anddd yeah! Albert had brought a TON of food so we were pretty set on that. I brought spaghetti too soo we had even more food, but heyyy, better more than less :p So Jessica, Dinh, and I got the master bedroom (well there's only one room anyway) with the huge ass king-sized bed. The living room had 2 couches, a recliner, and a murphy bed. The kitchen was equipped with utensils, plates, and whatnot, and the dining table seated six. Perfect! :] Even though we had sooo much food, we just haaddd to go out and eat because we were too lazy to cook :] Instead of driving to town, we walked -_- Omg. So much walking. Albert had met this girl at drum major camp that said she worked at International Cuisine in Monterey so we were all anxious to go there >:] Albert was too, but he didn't admit it. HAHA. So he tried to lead us to a different restaurant, which actually ended up being International Cuisine xD He totally did that on purpose ha ha haaaa :P Kristin actually wasn't working at the time, but her co-worker, Fadi, said that she would be there within the hour so we all took our sweet time eating >:] Food was really good btw lol. So we finally met Kristin, who came to work early because Fadi texted her saying that Albert was looking for her HAHAHA! She was really nice and outgoing and offered to show us around the next day! Coools. We stayed at the restaurant for a while, talking to Kristin, watching Fadi do magic tricks, and having him make fun of me -__- After that, we walked down to NobHill to get groceries for future meals and walked ALLL the way back to the lodge gahhhh. That night, we went through Jessica's humungo sets of DVDs. Out of all the awesome movies she had, SOMEONEEE had to pick Apocalypto -_-. I dunno how I had an appetite after watching that, but I was starvingg and it was already 930ish so we started cooking :) We made spaghetti with hotdogs and this huge fruit salad that looked really tasty, but in reality was grossio because it was all watermelon and cantaloupe ew! :P After the delicious meal, we cleaned up and plopped back down on the couch to watch The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I'm pretty sure it was a good movie...I hella wasn't paying attention cuz I kept falling asleep. I was heeelalala tireddd. I think I took a shower after that and got ready for bed. It was like 3 am -____-

Tuesday, July 28th-
A few hours after we went to sleep: Dinh's phone rang. She reached over me and answered it. "Hellloooo? Hellllooowwww? Hello?!........Fckenbitch!!" *HangsUp*. I go back to sleep. I wake up again to feel Dinh jumping off the bed and hear her trip when she landed on the floor xD. Go back to sleep. Wake up again as Dinh jumps back on the bed and slams her head onto the headboard. HAHAHAHHAHAHA! I laugh my ass off, ask if she's okay, and go back to sleep a few seconds after. *PokePoke* "Are you awake?" Dinh wakes me up and I remember what happened earlier and start laughing again xD Apparently, everyone else was already up so I got outta bed, brushed my teeth and talked about how everyone slept. Albert woke up hella early so he actually witnessed Dinh bouncing on the bed and flying into the headboard. HAHAHHAHAH!!! I love you Dinhhhhhh kekkkekekek ;] Dinh explained that she got a prank phone call in the middle of the night probably by some drunk horny dude, and I found out that I made weird noises in my sleep. :P Interesting night. Hahahha :D Darren made omelets for breakfast, yummm, we tried to call Kristin for that tour, but she didn't pick up.... :[, everyone got dressed, and took the scenic route to get to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The beach was really pretty :) The houses along the beach were so fricken nice. A lot of them had floor-to-ceiling windows. That was hella sickk. That's my future house right there :P So anywhos, after a long walk, we reached the aquarium. We saw a fish that looked like Mr. Sousa xD The jellyfish were suuperr cool, and the sea otter was hilarious! It kept scratching itself and flipping and twisting around xD So cuteee hahah :) Ah, my camera totally ran outta batteries so I couldn't take any pics at the time. Booooo :p After the aquarium, we walked to NobHill again to buy more groceries. On the way back, Kristin called Albert and it turns out she was just about to get off work... HMMM >:) Right when we passed the restaurant, we saw her driving off. We called her and made her drive back lolol. So ladeda fastforward, Kristin came over for dinner, we had bbq chicken and hotdogs(OMFG SO GOOD) and she took us to Cannery Row to check it out. It was a very tourist-y place :P Said bye and thanks to Kristin, went back to the lodge, went into the hot tub, and then went back in to play games! We had a fire going in the fireplace and everything! It was really nice and cozy cuz Monterey was friggen cold -_- We played games until like 3am again hah but this time we all slept in the living room. It was supposed to be 'sleeping around the fire' but the fire already went out. -_-

Wednesday, July 30th-
Woke up, had light breakfasts of croissants and muffins, and walked back to town for the infamous Brunch. Table for six please. LOLs :D Brunch really is awesome lol. We went back to Cannery Row and shopped, bought candy, and watched this spray paint artist make this amazing picture. I woulda gotten it, but I don't think I would have any place to put it :T Well, if I ever go back, then maybe :] We walked back to the lodge and got ready to go to Carmel! The guys grilled the burgers and the girls started packing food and utensils and whatnot. Albert's GPS was totally not updated so it led us to random ass places. After getting lost for about 10 min, we finally found our way and parked at Carmel City Beach. We walked around the little village-looking shops and saw rich people and their cars. Hahaha :P After that, we walked back to the beach and unpacked, found out that we could only have bonfires on the ooothherr side of the beach -_- so we packed up, drove to the other side, unpacked, and started a fire! Dinh made some fried rice earlier so we ate that, potato salad, and those grilled burgers. Yummm! The fire started to die so we started making smorez. Once we had our fill, we walked over to the freezing cold water and just stood there screaming at the water. HAHA! FIVE STEPS CLOSER! :D Albert brought sparklers so we played with those Harry Potter style lololol xD It started getting really dark and the fire was pretty much dead, so we headed back to the lodge. Hot tubbed, showered, and watched some How I Met Your Mother! Ok this is where it starts getting fuzzy cuz I was dead tiredddd. There was a huge pile of blankets and pillow on the ground so I made a nest out of it and fell asleep on it. Next thing I know, Albert pulls me up by the arm and tells me to drink hot chocolate. I get up, drink the hot cocoa, and totally knock out again. Next time I woke up, Dinh was sitting watching HIMYM, Albert was knocked out a few feet away, Jessica, Darren, and Wilson were also knocked out on the couch xD I talked to Dinh for a while watching HIMYM with her, and knocked out again. This happened like a couple more times until I woke up and found Dinh sleeping. Soooo, I got up, turned off the TV, turned off the light, and knocked out in my pile of blankets again :] I wish I looked at the time, but I forgot to lol.

Thursday, July 30th-
Pancakes were made in the morning by I don't know who because I was sleeping xD. They were good! I think we also ate the shitload of popcorn that we popped earlier ....we probably made more too :p That day was a totally chillax day, sitting around the tv watching HIMYM, and then playing board games. Fun fun! But time flew by and it started getting late so we had to pack up and say goodbye to Monterey! :'( I fell asleep in the car and had fricken Miley Cyrus' song "The Climb" in my dream for some reason... I woke up with that stupid song stuck in my head so I asked if it was playing on the radio earlier and yes it was. -_-. Thanks to Albert's GPS, we got lost in the ghetto side of Gilroy trying to find Sonics xD We found it eventually and ate! We need one in Milpitas, or at least San Jose. So more driving, got home, drove Dinh home, andd yahh :) I want to go back!
